NOTICES AND POLICIES

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Racing is a dangerous sport. Gecker Motorsports Products is not responsible for any harm or injury resulting from or by use of any of the products that Gecker Motorsports Products sells or manufactures. All products on this site are for racing purposes only. Due to the rigors and variables involved in racing, Gecker Motorsports Products does not warranty any item sold. Any/all warranties are the sole responsibility of the product manufacturer.

SHIPPING POLICY:

Gecker Motorsports Products will make every attempt to ship your order promptly upon approval. We ship most most engines within 2-4 weeks. In some circumstances, shipment may be delayed. If you require special shipping or guaranteed delivery, please call our office to discuss the necessary arrangements.

We endeavor to estimate actual freight as accurately as possible at time of order. However, in some circumstances, additional charges may apply. You will be contacted prior to billing to authorize any necessary increases.

Pre-payment is required on any retail order over $200. No CODs will be allowed. Some engine orders may require a 50% deposit prior to production. Please contact our office for additional details.

Special Order Bearings:

No returns on special order bearings. After sample approval, all orders are pre-paid.

RETURN POLICY:

Gecker Motorsports Products accepts returns only if there was a mistake made on our part.

We can accept returns due to customer error under some circumstances, subject to a 15% restocking fee. Authorization for returns must be made within 30 days from date of sale.

Special order parts cannot be returned under any circumstances.

Products being returned due to manufacturer defect should be returned directly to the manufacturer of the product. Gecker Motorsports Products does not warranty other manufacturer's products.

PRIVACY, SECURITY AND LEGAL ISSUES:

At Gecker Motorsports Products, one of our goals is for you to be as comfortable shopping here as you would be shopping at your favorite kart shop. We take your privacy seriously. Your credit card number is revealed only to the secure Web server and credit card transaction processing organization responsible for the merchant account used by Gecker Motorsports Products. At no time is your credit card number transmitted over the public Internet in an unencrypted or insecure environment. At no time is your credit card number stored in an insecure device or insecure media.

Please note that various goods and services available for sale on the Internet may be prohibited in your area. If you have any questions or complaints about the goods and services that you have purchased through our Webstore, please contact us immediately.

LEGAL NOTICES:

The owner/operator (Gecker Motorsports Products) of this public Internet Web site is not liable for the failure of any single electronic commerce transaction or any series of electronic commerce transaction authorization failures experienced by one or more end-users accessing this Webstore over any public or private telecommunication system. Under no circumstances, including negligence, shall Gecker Motorsports Products be liable for any incidental, special or consequential damages that result from the access or inability to access the Webstore. Similarly, Merchant shall not be liable for the failure of delivery of any product or service purchased by one or more end-users accessing this Webstore through any public or private telecommunication system due to errors, omissions, interruptions, delays in operation, system congestion, insufficient bandwidth or any other failure of performance whether or not caused by events beyond the reasonable control of Gecker Motorsports Products. These include but are not limited to, acts of God, theft, destruction, or unauthorized use of the public Internet by any unknown third party directly or indirectly affecting the Webstore. In any case, the Merchant's entire liability and Customer's exclusive remedy will be defined by the terms of the Merchant Account Agreement under which payment was made for any product or service purchased at the Webstore.
